Russians Olifirenko and Medenova win BRICS Games boxing gold

Russians Ksenia Olifirenko and Saltanat Medenova won gold medals in boxing competitions at the BRICS Games, which are taking place in Kazan.
In the final fight in the over 81 kg weight category, Olifirenko won by unanimous decision over Ilian Zhan from China.
Medenova’s opponent in the 81 kg weight class was Chinese representative Lu Zheng, the fight also ended with a unanimous decision by the judges in favor of the Russian.
