Gadzimagomedov defeats Chinese Zhaoxin and becomes WBA world champion in bridgerweight
Russian boxer Muslim Gadzimagomedov defeated Chinese Zhang Zhaoxin in the main fight of the “Liga Stavok. IBA Champions Night” tournament in Serpukhov.
2020 Olympic silver medalist and 2024 European champion Muslim Gadzimagomedov won the vacant WBA bridgerweight world title. The fight was stopped in the fourth round. Gadzimagomedov has won all four fights in the professional ring. Zhang Zhaoxin has won 12 fights, suffered three losses, and one fight ended in a draw.
