Mineev defeated Ismailov in a fight according to boxing rules
Vladimir Mineev defeated Magomed Ismailov in the main event of the Pulse UP Boxing tournament.
The fight was held according to boxing rules and lasted eight rounds. Mineev won by unanimous decision of the judges.
Mineev and Ismailov have previously met twice in the cage. Their first fight, which took place in October 2018 at the Fight Nights Global 90 tournament, ended in a draw.
The second fight between Mineev and Ismailov took place in October 2021 at the AMC Fight Nights 105 tournament. Mineev won this fight by technical knockout in the third round.
In total, 34-year-old Mineev has 17 wins, one loss and one draw in MMA. 38-year-old Ismailov has 18 wins, four losses and one draw.
