The brawl between Russian fighters was broadcast live.

On July 20, a big boxing evening will take place in Moscow at the Live Arena sports complex. The main event of the show will be a fight between Vladimir Mineev and Magomed Ismailov. The fight format is eight rounds of three minutes.

This will be the third meeting of the famous fighters. The previous two were held under MMA rules. The first fight took place in 2018 and ended in a draw, and in 2021 Mineev was stronger.

A long history of feud

The fighters have a long history of relationships. The excitement around the confrontation between Mineev and Ismailov has not died down for a second since their first fight. The fighters themselves also heated up the crowd, provoking and teasing each other at every opportunity.

During their acquaintance, things often came to blows. The fighters fought not only as professionals in the octagon, but also as ordinary troublemakers and violators of public order.

AMC Fight Nights 2020 Carnage

A real scandal was the mass brawl at the AMC Fight Nights Global: Winter Cup tournament. The funniest thing is that neither Mineev nor Ismailov had any direct connection to this event. They came to support their friends who were performing at the tournament.

After the end of one of the fights, Mineev, as a celebrity guest, came out into the cage, took the microphone and addressed Magomed Ismailov.

“Ismailov, I know you’re here. Come out and tell me when we fight, otherwise everyone will think you’re scared,” Mineev said then.

Magomed came out, and a conversation started between the fighters. Then Ismailov made a mock swing towards his opponent, for which he got hit in the forehead with a microphone. That’s when the brawl began. Outsiders joined the fight between the fighters. The crowd eventually separated the fighters. Fortunately, they managed to avoid serious injuries. Ismailov’s nose was broken, and Mineev’s eyebrow was cut.

Of course, a mass brawl in the middle of the tournament looked wild. It all happened in front of thousands of spectators in the hall and millions watching on TV.

“Friends, we are live on air. Don’t disgrace Moscow!” ring announcer Alexander Zagorsky then called out to the participants of the brawl.

As a result, Ismailov was fined 10 thousand rubles for provoking a mass brawl.

Before the upcoming boxing match, Ismailov and Mineev are traditionally not stingy with trash talk. Let’s see if the fighters will resolve all their issues in the ring, or if some things will still go beyond it.

Watch the live broadcast of the PULSE UP fight between Magomed Ismailov and Vladimir Mineev on July 20 from 20:00 (Moscow time) on the Match TV channel and from 18:55 on the Match! Fighter channel, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
