The Investigative Committee of Crimea and Sevastopol is establishing the circumstances of the fight in Feodosia, as a result of which Russian boxing champion Dmitry Dvali received serious injuries.

According to the SHOT Telegram channel, Russian and European boxing champion Dmitry Dvali stood up for a boy who was being beaten by a crowd and was seriously injured in the fight; the athlete may lose an eye.

— During the monitoring of social networks in Telegram channels, information was revealed about a conflict between a group of people in Feodosia, as a result of which a young man, a Russian boxing champion, and his friend suffered bodily injuries of varying severity.

The head of the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, V. N. Terentyev, instructed the head of the Investigative Department for the city of Feodosia, Yevgeny Ovcharenko, to submit a petition to the supervising prosecutor to transfer the criminal case initiated by the investigative bodies under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to the Investigative Committee for the purpose of a comprehensive investigation, an assessment of the actions of the two detained local residents and other participants in the conflict, the Investigative Committee said in a press release.

23-year-old Dvali is the 2024 European Champion and bronze medalist of the 2023 World Championship.

The summit program includes discussions on the development of the sports sector, the introduction of technology, the role of sports in society and international collaborations. More than 200 speakers and experts are attending the event.

Zhytomyr club reported that Polesie’s participation in the 2025 World Sports Summit is an important step to strengthen international ties.

Usik returned to Joshua after the terrible tragedy and the deaths of two people

World champion by WBC, WBA and IBF super heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) Alexander Usik (24-0, 15 KOs) reacted to the horrific accident involving popular British boxer Anthony Joshua (29-4, 25 KOs).

The Lexus driven by the former champion was involved in an accident in Nigeria. Joshua’s trainers Robert Lutz and Sina Gami died in an accident. They were both in the front seat of the car, with Anthony sitting in the back.

Lutz was Joshua’s personal mentor, while Gami was Joshua’s physical trainer and close friend.

“This is an incredible loss. Cena and Lutz are incredible people who are not only part of Joshua’s team, but also his friends.

I offer my condolences to their families, loved ones and everyone who knew them. Anthony, I wish you a speedy recovery. Hang on champ,” Usyk wrote on social networks.
