Russian Taekwondoist Ramazanov on Silver at 2024 Paralympics: “I Flew to Paris for Gold”

Russian taekwondo athlete Aliaskhab Ramazanov said on Match TV that he set himself the goal of winning a gold medal at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.

On Saturday, Ramazanov won a silver medal at the Paralympics in the over 80 kilogram weight category.

— Like any athlete, I flew here for gold. I had met my opponent in the final before and beat him twice. But that was in 2018.

Glory to the Almighty that I am here today in such a pleasant atmosphere at the Paralympics, Ramazanov said on the “All on Match!” program on Match TV.

The Paralympic Games in the French capital will end on September 8.
