Former world boxing champion in five weight categories, American Floyd Mayweather Jr., demanded that the judge be replaced during an exhibition fight with compatriot John Gotti.
The fight took place in Mexico City and lasted all eight rounds of two minutes; the official result was not announced.
In the second round, Mayweather demanded that the referee be replaced, who, in his opinion, gave him an unfair warning for striking his opponent in the back of the head. After a short pause, a new referee entered the ring.
Mayweather became a world champion in five weight categories and a bronze medalist at the 1996 Olympic Games. He retired from his professional career in 2017.
Gotti competes in mixed martial arts and has five wins and one loss.
