Famous boxer charged with drunk driving after Lamborghini accident
https://odds.ru/Former World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion American Jermell Charlo has been officially charged with driving under the influence, reports TMZ Sports.
In May, 34-year-old Charlo, while intoxicated, crashed his Lamborghini in Texas.
Prosecutors also charged the professional boxer with a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of an accident, the source said. Authorities say after the crash, Charlo got into a verbal altercation with the other driver and then fled the scene.
Charlo is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on the case on November 7.
