Makhachev does not believe that McGregor will return to the UFC

UFC lightweight champion Russian Islam Makhachev responded to the possible return of 36-year-old Irishman Conor McGregor to the promotion.
Earlier, UFC head Dana White said in an interview on the New York Post Sports YouTube channel that McGregor would fight in the UFC in early 2025.

– This is already fantastic. He tries to stay afloat with his tongue. “He’s more in clubs than in training,” Match TV quotes Makhachev as saying.
McGregor’s last fight in the UFC took place in July 2021, when he lost early to American Dustin Poirier. The Irish fighter has 22 wins and 6 losses in mixed martial arts; he previously held UFC championship belts in two weight categories.
