Bivol will win the fight against Beterbiev, but on points, says Shtyrkov

Russian MMA fighter Ivan Shtyrkov expressed the opinion that Russian Dmitry Bivol will defeat compatriot Artur Beterbiev by decision of the judges in the upcoming boxing match.

The fight between undefeated boxers for the title of absolute world light heavyweight champion will take place on October 12 in Saudi Arabia.

– I think Bivol has a better chance in this fight. Again, everything is “subtle” there, but if Beterbiev doesn’t hit him with his crazy blow, then Bivol, with his dynamics, individual technique, mobility and a huge number of strikes, will take the fight on points.

I don’t think that Bivol will be able to knock out Beterbiev and finish early, but without missing, again, some hard knockout blow from Beterbiev – and Beterbiev has all of them like that. I think that the whole camp is built on maximum movement and a large number of blows, so as not to allow one to aim and hit oneself,” Shtyrkov told the “Championship”.

Bivol has 23 wins and holds the IBO and WBA light heavyweight belts. Beterbiev has 20 wins and owns the IBF, WBO and WBC belts.
