Russian judokas Lorsanov and Endovitsky won gold medals at the Grand Slam tournament in the UAE

Russian judoka Mansur Lorsanov won a gold medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Abu Dhabi.

Lorsanov defeated Jesper Smink from the Netherlands in the final of the up to 90 kg weight category. For the 24-year-old Russian, this is the third gold at Grand Slam tournaments.

Also the winner of the competition was Valery Endovitsky (over 100 kg). In the decisive battle, he defeated the Azerbaijani Ushangi Kokauri.

Niyaz Bilalov, competing in the up to 100 kg weight category, won silver, losing to the Dutchman Michael Correll in the final match. In the same weight, Russian Arman Adamyan became a bronze medalist.

Russian athletes competed in the UAE in a neutral status. In total, judokas from Russia won five gold, two silver and three bronze medals at the tournament.
