Mamiashvili and Yarygina retained their posts as vice-presidents of the United World of Wrestling
President of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR) Mikhail Mamiashvili and first vice-president of the federation Natalya Yarygina retained their posts as vice-presidents of the United World of Wrestling (UWW), according to the FSBR website.
The decision was made on October 28 in Tirana, where the first meeting of the newly elected UWW Bureau was held.
It is noted that all current vice-presidents, with the exception of the American Stan Jezik, who left the bureau due to age, retained the posts of vice-presidents: these are Mamiashvili and Yarygina (both from Russia), Theodoras Hamakos (Greece) and Ahroldzhan Ruziev (Uzbekistan), among them Rodika Yakshi (Turkey) and Fuad Meskout (Morocco) were added.
Russia remains the only country represented in the UWW governing body with two delegates.
On Sunday it became known that Yarygina was re-elected to the UWW bureau. She was re-elected in the first round of voting, receiving 60 votes.
