Murtazaliev knocked out Tim Tszyu in the title fight for the IBF belt
Bakhram Murtazaliev defeated Tim Tszyu in the junior middleweight title fight for the IBF belt.
The fight took place in Orlando. Murtazaliev won by technical knockout in the third round.
Murtazaliev is 31 years old and has won 23 victories in 23 fights. The Russian won his title in early April in Germany, defeating German Jack Culcay.
29-year-old Tszyu lost to American Sebastian Fundora by split decision at the end of March in Las Vegas and suffered the first defeat of his career. He failed to defend the World Boxing Association (WBO) world title and to win the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) junior middleweight belt. Tszyu has 24 wins and two losses.
