The son of the great boxer Konstantin Tszyu, Timofey, had a real chance to return to big boxing after a disappointing defeat from the American Sebastian Fundora.

But the ex-WBO champion faced a brutal beating from Russian boxer Bakhram Murtazaliev.

Tszyu’s career before the disappointing loss in the fight with Fundora was impeccable. Tim had 24 fights and celebrated victory in all of them, becoming the WBO champion. However, at the beginning of the fight with the huge American, the Australian boxer received a cut, from which blood poured into his eyes throughout the remaining rounds. But even in such conditions, Tim lost only by a split decision.

A bright fight and great recognition allowed him to remain among the top junior middleweight boxers and once again claim the belt. To do this, Tszyu needed to meet with the undefeated Russian Bahram Murtazaliev (22-0), who owns the IBF belt.

Before the fight, Timofey was very immodest in his assessment of his future, talking about the greatness of the family name and recalling the achievements of his father and younger brother.

In the middle of the first three minutes, the challenger picked up the pace a little, getting involved in an exchange of blows, but it was clearly not in his favor.

In the third round, the representative of the famous family once again found himself on the floor. Having risen, he again fell under a hail of heavy blows.
