Aggressor’s debut
Russian fighter Idris Abdurashidov, known under the nickname Aggressor, held four official fights according to MMA rules, in each of which he finished his opponents ahead of schedule. On Sunday, October 20, the athlete made his debut in the boxing ring, where he knocked out his opponent with one blow. But there is a nuance because of which there is no need to rejoice at another knockout.
Abdurashidov held his first and, quite possibly, last boxing match in Thailand, where he had already pleased the local audience with a quick victory at the One Championship tournament according to MMA rules. The Russian’s opponent was the representative of Iran, Bagher Faraji, a slightly more experienced boxer – before the meeting with Idris, he had two early victories over debutants. This time the Iranian had difficulties: he was unable to knock out his opponent in the first, second, or even third rounds.
In the fourth, Faraji added activity, delivered several unpleasant blows, to which Abdurashidov responded with a knockout… high kick. The Iranian, having missed a blow to the jaw, instantly collapsed on the flooring, but Idris definitely shouldn’t have celebrated. In boxing, such things are not welcome, so the Aggressor was instantly disqualified, and the knocked out opponent became the winner of the fight and formally continues to remain an unbeaten boxer.
“Whip with sticks”
For Idris in boxing, chances are it’s all over. The 21-year-old Russian faces a lifelong ban, which he doesn’t seem to regret too much yet. On social networks, the fighter joked about what happened and, as RMC Sport notes, Abdurashidov does not feel any remorse.
The Aggressor’s reaction is partly understandable; if the MMA career does not suffer after the incident, then there seems to be no reason to worry. However, foreign sports fans are confident that Abdurashidov should be disqualified not only in boxing, but also in mixed martial arts, and some are even more determined.
– Should be disqualified for life!
– Just remove him from MMA. It’s obvious he has no self-control.

But in any case, the fighter’s action is not beautiful and for the sake of decency, Idris could have apologized to his opponent, and not just ridiculed the unsuccessful debut.
