“I think Volkov will be able to beat Gan at the UFC tournament in Las Vegas” – Khalidov

Russian heavyweight Murad Khalidov believes that his compatriot Alexander Volkov is capable of ending the fight against Frenchman Cyril Hahn early.

The fight between 36-year-old Volkov and 34-year-old Gan will take place on December 8 at UFC 310 in Las Vegas. The fight will be a rematch after Volkov lost by unanimous decision at the tournament on June 26, 2021.

— I saw several fights of Gan. Including their first fight with Alexander. The Frenchman has good striking technique, he is light on his feet and difficult to catch. But his latest performances, honestly, didn’t really impress me. Yes, he dealt well with Sergei Spivak, but lost devastatingly to Jones, and a little earlier, the not very diverse Tai Tuivasa almost managed to get him. It seems to me that Volkov has grown a lot since their fight and now he won’t make the same mistakes. I think he will be able to beat Gan, start the fight in the third round and, perhaps, secure a finish,” Khalidov told the Championship.

INOUE: “I’m tired. I had to prepare very hard for these 4 matches in a year.”

Japanese boxer after fight in Riyadh Naoya Inoue He shared his impressions of his victory over Mexican David Picasso (119–109, 120–108, 117–111):

“Honestly, I’m tired. The point wasn’t that I had four fights a year, it was that I had to prepare very hard for each of those four fights. When you’re in this process, you tolerate it because you only think about the fight, but now that it’s over, I see that I definitely gave it everything I had.”

“I don’t want to disrespect Picasso, but I wanted to show the difference between us a little more clearly and knock him out. I couldn’t meet the expectations and I couldn’t box the way I wanted. Nothing has been decided yet, but I would be happy to organize a fight that will excite the whole of Japan.”

Japanese Junto Nakatani He talked about his victory over Sebastian Hernandez (118-110, 115-113, 115-113):

“This fight was an experience for me. I moved up to this weight class to win a championship, so if I get that chance, I want to take it.”
