“I approached Volkov and apologized. I think he won the fight with Gan” – UFC head Dana White

UFC head Dana White considers the judges’ decision to give Cyril Gun victory over Alexander Volkov in the fight at the UFC 310 tournament unfair.
The main card fight ended in a split decision in favor of the Frenchman.
– I believe that Volkov won the fight. You saw what happened after the fight. You heard the roar of the crowd. I approached Volkov after the fight and apologized. I think he won,” White said at a press conference.
36-year-old Volkov in MMA won 38 victories with 11 defeats, the record of 34-year-old Gan is 13 victories and 2 defeats.
Previously, the rivals met in June 2021 in the main event of the UFC Fight Night tournament in Las Vegas, then the Frenchman won by unanimous decision.
