UFC champion Dvalishvili took part in a brawl with a fan at a tournament in Las Vegas
UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili became involved in a brawl with a spectator at the UFC 310 tournament in Las Vegas, reports Bloody Elbow.
The incident occurred after the fight between Aljamain Sterling and Movsar Evloev. Sterling was defeated by a unanimous decision, after which fans hurled insults at his coaching staff. An alleged member of Sterling’s team punched one of the fans.
Reigning bantamweight champion Dvalishvili, who was Sterling’s corner during his preliminary fight, was escorted out of the arena under security following the incident.
This is not the first time that Dvalishvili has gotten into a fight with a fan. Earlier this year, the champion jumped into the stands to confront a fan during another UFC event.
Also in December, Russian fighter Umar Nurmagomedov and Dvalishvili got into an altercation before a press conference dedicated to their fight at UFC 311.
