Australian Ashley Rascoe has pleaded guilty to assaulting Olympic bronze medalist boxer Harry Garside, ABC Australia reports.

Rascoe and Garside have been in a relationship since 2019. In 2023, the girl accused the boxer of assault, which occurred in March 2023 in Sydney. Garside categorically denied all allegations. His defense told the court that there was video footage that proved Rascoe was the aggressor during the incident. After this, an investigation was launched against the girl.

On Monday, December 2, Rascoe pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence and one count of stalking Garside. Judge Miranda Moody ordered Rascoe’s conditional release without conviction and probation for one year.

Rascoe, 36, was also subject to a two-year warrant to protect Garside. The girl is prohibited from approaching the boxer, contacting him or trying to find him.

Garside is 27 years old and won a bronze medal in the 63kg weight category at the Tokyo Olympics.
