Boxing champion Florian Mark was arrested in Germany and extradited to Greece, reports The Sun.
He was detained for an incident, which occurred seven years ago in Thessaloniki. 32 -year -old Albanian is accused of injuring and illegal storage of weapons.
According to the Greek media, for this incident he faces seven years in prison, although he had previously been convicted and sentenced to one and a half years in prison. However, since then the case has been appealed, and in accordance with changes in Greek legislation, it must leave at least one third of the original term.
Mark, having a career in kickboxing and MMA behind his shoulders, achieved the greatest success in professional boxing, where his record is 13–1–1.
In 2021, Mark won the IBF International Champion title.
