Pavlovich broke the opponent’s face into the blood. The audience roared with delight

The daring opponent lost without a chance, despite the scattering of titles.

On February 1, the fighter of mixed martial arts from Russia, Sergei Pavlovich, will meet with the dangerous knockouter Zhairzino Rosenstreik as part of the UFC Fight Night 250 tournament. This match will largely determine Sergei’s championship prospects. Our heavyweight already had similar situations, in one of them he came out the winner, convincingly understanding the titled opponent.

“On my side, experience”

By the end of 2016, it was already clear that Pavlovich would become a top of the heavyweight by Russian standards. He finished most of the fights with spectacular knockouts, while not forgetting about the submishes.

At that time, Sergey played at Fight Nights Global. The promotion held the Grand Prix among the heavyweights, where the champion title stood at the stake. In the semifinals, Pavlovich was to meet with a dangerous opponent Alexei Kudin, who had an excellent shock technique. She helped Belarusus become a multiple world champion in Thai boxing and kickboxing. In total, he boasts eight such titles according to different versions.

Kikboxing and Thai boxing Kudin actively combined classes with MMA, where he also performed very successfully. For example, before a fight with Pavlovich, he brought a duel with another top Russian weight Mikhail Mokhnatkin to a draw that made Sergei think.

– I watched his battle with Mikhail and emphasized many interesting things for myself. I saw his weaknesses and worked on them with the coaching staff. He has good technology in the rack, and in the struggle he has greatly added recently. But Alexey is older than me, and this will be my advantage. Two elements, two knockouts will meet. I wonder what will win, ”Pavlovich said before the battle.

Either for greater confidence in his own abilities, or in an attempt to intimidate Pavlovich, in a promo river before the battle, Kudin boasted the preparation in the company of steep Russian heavyweights.

– I held three weeks in Moscow. Sparring were with Alexander Volkov, Sergey Kharitonov, Alexei Oleinik. I have more fights behind me, with more eminent rivals. On my side are experience. If the fight takes place in the rack, then the audience will like it, ”said Kudin.

He broke his face to the opponent and got a fight for the title

The battle was the main event of the Fight Nights Global 54 tournament, which took place in the native to Pavlovich Rostov-on-Don. It is not surprising that from the first seconds, Sergey tried to put pressure, but at first his attacks stumbled upon the opponent’s hard response. However, Rostov, waited for the right moment and spent a spectacular Takedown.

Sergey did not succeed in developing success in the stalls. He limited himself to several Hammerfists, after which he got up. In the remaining part of the round, the fighters did not force events, exchanging rare blows, in which Pavlovich was more precise. Only before Sirena did the fighters inflated the pace, which immediately led to the results. The Russian Uperskot hit the nose exactly, because of which Kudin flowed blood. Fans were just delighted. The Russian took this segment without a doubt.

At the beginning of the second five -minute, Sergey went to develop success. He began to use his legs more actively. Also, the Russian was often invested in the Super. They regularly reached the goal, which is why blood flowed abundantly from the nose of the opponent. But periodically, Belorus still threw hard jabs towards, however, this was not enough to convince the judges.

The final round began Aleksey. The combination of low-rowing and lateral blows benefits. Kudin hit the head on the left, forcing Pavlovich to back up slightly. But this was perhaps the only successful action of the Belarusian fighter.

Pavlovich answered Takedown, but did not fight, quickly rising. In the second half of the round, Belorus continued to work as a low-haired man. It looked spectacular, but not effective. Pavlovich, in response, inflicted heavy blows on the head.

The judges unanimously gave the victory to Pavlovich. Thanks to this, he reached the final of the Grand Prix, gaining the opportunity to compete for the Fight Nights Global title in heavyweight, which will subsequently conquer.

The UFC Fight Night tournament will take place on February 1. See the direct broadcast on the channels “Match TV” (at 19:15 Moscow time) and “Match! Fighter ”(from 17:00 Moscow time), Matchtv.ru sites and Sportbox.ru.
