The Usyk was removed from the battles after the victory over Fury. Now the Ukrainian is not up to boxing!
Expected WBC decision.
The world champion in several versions, Alexander Usik, defeated Tyson Fury in the second match by a unanimous decision of the judges, but in the near future the Ukrainian will not be up to boxing.
Alexander was removed from official battles. The WBC decision also concerns the nearest future Fury.
In anticipation of the trilogy
On the night of December 22, a revenge was held in Riyadh between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury. According to the results of 12 rounds, the World WBC, IBO, WBO, WBA-SUPER and The Ring champion remained the same. The Ukrainian boxer was preferred with the same score of 116-112 all three judges.
Before the fight, it seemed that the trilogy was quite possible. The victory of Fury or the unconsterely success of the Usyk could be a good basis for organizing the third fight. But the Gypsy King is unlikely to oppose something to the Ukrainian boxer on the third attempt, since in the first two fights he was far from victory. Nevertheless, the head of the World Boxing Council (WBC) Maurisio Suleiman said that he wanted to see the third battle of two top heavyweights.
– As for me, it was a very close battle and a great way to complete the year. Tyson is still capable of a lot. Is the trilogy interesting? Certainly. The first battle turned out to be very dramatic. The second gave us a high pace, the quality of boxing, equipment and strategy. They can fight 10-20 times, and all the battles will be close, ”Suleiman said in an interview with the IFL TV YouTube channel.
After such a statement, someone could surprise the news that the WBC was suspended both Usik and Fury …
Tyson schedule
The press service of the WBC announced the decision of the organization’s leadership to suspend the OSKA champion and the recent contender of Fury for 36 days. The procedure is standard, and there is certainly logic in it. Two strongest heavyweights threshed each other in 12 rounds, access to the ring in the coming weeks will become a real crime against their health.
Another question is that in practical terms, such a removal does not make much sense and is a formality. More than seven months have passed since the previous match of boxers. Has hardly in a week or two of this couple will want to fight with someone again.
In the history of boxing, and not so ancient, there were enough cases when the athletes held fights without large pauses. Recall the same Tyson Tamon, who in the first two years of a professional career appeared in the ring 28 times. Between some fights of the American, rest was about a week!
But even an iron Mike did not stand a similar schedule for long. Having become the world champion according to one version, he immediately reduced the frequency of reaching the ring. And the current champion and applicant to organize a new match in a short time is simply unrealistic, so it is quite logical that both in the coming weeks will not be up to boxing. When the injuries are healed, neither the WBC nor any other boxing organization to resist the return of top heavyweights will definitely not.

“The grappling match with Makhachev will not take place, because Islam earns a lot of money in the UFC” – Tsarukyan
UFC lightweight number one Arman Tsarukyan said that he does not yet consider a potential grappling fight with the promotion’s welterweight champion Islam Makhachev to be realistic.
On Tuesday, Tsarukyan and Sharabutdin Magomedov, known by his nickname Shara Bullet, ended in a draw in a grappling bout in Yerevan.
— The grappling match with Makhachev will not take place, because Islam earns a lot of money in the UFC. I don’t think anyone can afford to pay him that amount,” Red Corner MMA quotes Tsarukyan as saying.

TYSON FURY: “Usyk will give up his champion title and there is a reason for that”
Former world heavyweight champion, British Tyson Rage I am sure that WBC champion Oleksandr Usyk will leave his belt vacant due to the lack of interesting opponents:
“Usyk will not fight opponents ranked in the WBC because it is impossible to make good money from these fights. How much money will he make by fighting Agit Kabayel or Lawrence Okolie?”
Frankly, these are insufficient. After making a ton of money fighting Tyson Fury, you don’t want to go back to fights that have no financial benefit.
Usik will therefore give up his WBC title and Agit Kabayel will become the full world champion. He will be able to defend against (German boxer) Okolie or Moses Itauma,” Fury said on the DAZN platform.
Kabayel’s next opponent will be Poland’s undefeated representative Damian Knyba. The fight for the WBC interim title will take place in Germany on January 10.
