The Russian mixed style fighter Alexander Emelianenko said he would miss 10 months due to a spinal injury, the planned fight with the blogger Artem Tarasov will not take place.
In January, Emelianenko said that on March 29, he should fight against Tarasov in Belarus. In September 2021, Emelianenko defeated Tarasov in a duel according to the rules of boxing in MMA Pinks.
– I have parted the intervertebral discs, a hernia crawled out from there and completely transmitted the spinal cord, my legs were taken away. I talked with the doctor, he said that after the rehabilitation operation, I would take 10 months. 10 months I will not be able to perform, train. So the battle in Belarus with Tarasov is canceled or transferred for later, I will be treated, recover, improve health, ”Emelianenko said in a video published in his Telegram channel.
The 43 -year -old Emelianenko won 29 victories for his career, suffered nine defeats, one of his fights ended in a draw.
