“Beterbiev is a very smart beast. But Bwalwo also received answers on how to act against Bugimen ” – Teddy Atlas

American coach Teddy Atlas believes that Dmitry Bivol and Arthur Beterbiev received the necessary information about each other, so it is impossible to predict the development of their revenge.

The fight for the title of absolute worldwide world will be held on February 22 in Riyadh. The first duel of Russian boxers took place in October 2024 and ended with Beterbiev’s victory by the decision of most judges (114–114, 115–113, 116–112). Beterbiev became the absolute champion of the world in half -life.

– There are two greatest and special boxers. When we look at Beterbiev, we understand that he is a warrior. We understand his mentality, determination to reach you, and then break you, his style, his approach … But many people do not understand and do not give Betherbiev due to other features. Beterbiev is a thoughtful person, Beterbiev … Yes, he is strong, yes, he is Pancher, he is aggressive, but he is also a good boxer. He does other things …

He is underestimated because of his style … they say, he only goes forward, he has no other skills. No, he has skills, but he makes it so that it completes everything beautifully. He deserves more than just to be a beast. Arthur Beterbiev is a very smart beast. On the other hand, we have a bevel. He receives tribute for the fact that he is a good boxer, because he shows it to his style. And he deserves it. Here we can say in both directions: Beterbiev is not given the due part of the mind, and they must pay tribute to him. And Bivola is paying tribute for his smart style of battle. But Beterbiev is paying tribute for the fact that he is mentally strong, and this is so! And this is one of his strengths. But Bivola is not paid tribute for the fact that he is also mentally strong. This makes the battle very interesting.

When you go against Bugimen, you never know what will happen. You will have questions to which you should give an answer. And think what? Bwil went against Bugimen and received answers to these questions: “Yes, I can go against Bugimena, I can live, exist against him.” These answers will help Bivola. I don’t know if I don’t know this meaning to win. Nobody knows, for this we all gathered here, ”the correspondent of Match TV reports the words of Atlas.

Beterbiev in a professional ring won 21 victory in the 21st match, on the account of Bivola 23 victories and one defeat. Teddy Atlas is 68 years old, earlier he worked with Alexander Povetkin, Shan Briggs, Timothy Bradley and Michael Moorer.

Wilder made a bold statement ahead of his title fight with Usyk

Former world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg), American Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) shared his expectations for the upcoming fight against WBC, WBA and IBF titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs).

“You know my next opponent. Usyk challenged me to a fight. He said he wanted to meet me in the ring. I accepted the challenge. “I push horses” and “I feel it, I feel it hard.”

What’s my plan? Be smart, be faster, use my agility, be tough, get in the ring and knock him out. I am known for my strength, I need to show it. “I’ve been through a tough journey in my life, but I’m back and ready to beat Usyk,” Wilder said.

The American had 49 fights in the professional ring and won 44 victories (43 of them ahead of schedule). In June, Wilder knocked out his compatriot Tyrell Herndon, ending his two defeats in 2023 and 2024.

Usyk last appeared in the ring in July, when he stopped Briton Daniel Dubois. The Ukrainian became the absolute world champion but lost a title by refusing to defend his WBO belt in October.

INOUE: “I’m tired. I had to prepare very hard for these 4 matches in a year.”

Japanese boxer after fight in Riyadh Naoya Inoue He shared his impressions of his victory over Mexican David Picasso (119–109, 120–108, 117–111):

“Honestly, I’m tired. The point wasn’t that I had four fights a year, it was that I had to prepare very hard for each of those four fights. When you’re in this process, you tolerate it because you only think about the fight, but now that it’s over, I see that I definitely gave it everything I had.”

“I don’t want to disrespect Picasso, but I wanted to show the difference between us a little more clearly and knock him out. I couldn’t meet the expectations and I couldn’t box the way I wanted. Nothing has been decided yet, but I would be happy to organize a fight that will excite the whole of Japan.”

Japanese Junto Nakatani He talked about his victory over Sebastian Hernandez (118-110, 115-113, 115-113):

“This fight was an experience for me. I moved up to this weight class to win a championship, so if I get that chance, I want to take it.”
