“Beterbiev and Bovil are the strongest half -worships of the world” – Evgeny Tishchenko

Olympic boxing champion Yevgeny Tishchenko called Arthur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivola the strongest half -worships of the world.

The fight for the title of absolute worldwide world will be held on February 22 in Riyadh. The first duel of Russian boxers took place in October 2024 and ended with Beterbiev’s victory by the decision of most judges (114–114, 115–113, 116–112). Beterbiev became the absolute champion of the world in half -life.

– Can Beterbiev suddenly overtake age?

– Suddenly – no. Beterbiev is a legend and a vivid example for me with whom I was in the Russian national team when I was just starting. At 40, he fights at the highest level, he is an absolute champion, a participant in two Olympiads. This is a big story for Russian boxing. It will be one of the legendary Soviet and Russian boxers.

– The first battle turned out to be close. Do they both need to change something?

“I think they know each other too well to change something.” It makes no difference how much time was in preparation, stylistically they are ready guys. The one who can impose his tactics and technology will win.

– Can a decisive role play the motivation of Bivol after the defeat?

“They are both motivated.” It is more difficult for Beterbiev from a moral point of view. He proved everything to everyone, this is the absolute world champion, the legendary boxer who completed all the fights except Bivol ahead of schedule. They are both strongest half -worships of the world. I am pleased that two Russian boxers defeated all the receipts. They are the best.

– If the bevel wins, there will be a trilogy. What if Beterbiev defeats?

– This must be asked from him. I would have ended my career in his place. He proved everything and made everything impossible for many boxers, – Tishchenko quotes RB Sport.

Beterbiev in a professional ring won 21 victory in the 21st match, on the account of Bivola 23 victories and one defeat.
