Sadulaev said that he would definitely not speak at the European Control Championship in Slovakia

Two -time Olympic champion Abledulrashid Sadulaev said that he would definitely not take part in the European Championship in Bratislava.

Earlier, the President of the Russian wrestling Federation (FSBR) Mikhail Mamiashvili told Match TV that Sadulaev was banned from entering the Schengen zone for political reasons, so he will not be able to speak at the European Championship in Slovakia. However, Sadulaev later said that the Russian Foreign Ministry and Slovakia was being discussed with his visa.

– With great regret, I want to tell that the European Championship starting tomorrow will still be held without my participation. The story is repeated – I was charged, focused and ready, but did not receive the good to go to Slovakia. How many questions are in this story and so few answers … In one thing I am convinced for sure – everything happens according to the will of the Lord. That’s why we are men in order to pass these tests steadfastly. We will learn lessons and move on.

I wish our whole team to show the maximum of our capabilities and most importantly – to do without injuries! – wrote Sadulaev in the Telegram channel.

The tournament in the capital of Slovakia will be held from April 7 to 13. Russian wrestlers will perform under the flag of the united world of struggle.
