Parker knocked out Bakole in an agreement on a boxing evening with the participation of Bivol and Beterbiev

New Zealand boxer Joseph Parker knocked out Martin Bakole from DR Congo in an agreement on a boxing evening in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

Parker was supposed to fight for the temporary WBO belt in heavyweight against the British Daniel Dubois, but Dubois was not allowed to fight doctors because of the disease. Bakole replaced the British at the last moment on a two -day notice. The Congolese flew to Riyadh a day before the battle.

In the second round, Parker sent Bakole to a heavy knockdown. The Congolese was able to rise, but the referee stopped the battle and fixed the knockout.

Further, within the framework of the tournament in Riyadh, the main event will be held: the fight for the title of absolute world -wide world champion, in which the Russians will meet Dmitry Bivol and Arthur Beterbiev. The first duel of Russian boxers took place in October 2024 and ended with Beterbiev’s victory by the decision of most judges (114–114, 115–113, 116–112). Beterbiev became the absolute champion of the world in half -life.
