Olympic boxing champion Maktaggart died at the 90th year of life
Olympic boxing champion Briton Richard Mactaggart died at the age of 89, reports The Courier.

Maktaggart won gold at the 1956 Olympic Games in the weight category up to 60 kg. In the semifinals, he defeated the Soviet boxer Anatoly Lagetko. Also on the account of Maktaggart, the bronze of the 1960 Olympics, as well as the title of European Champion – 1961.
