The fighter of MMA Ahmad Hasanzad was arrested on charges of sexual crimes against minors a few days before his debut in the UFC, reports The Sun.
According to the records of the office of the sheriff of the Sacramento district (USA), the 28 -year -old fighter charges of depraved actions against a child under 14 years of age.
He is also accused of committing depraved actions against another child aged 14 to 15 years. On April 22, he will have a court hearing on the charges.
The fighter surrendered to the authorities on Saturday afternoon, as the warrant was given to his arrest. The amount of the pledge is set in the amount of 400 thousand dollars.
Hassanzada, a lightweight fighter from Afghanistan, was supposed to debut in UFC on April 26. The fight with Mitch Ramirez was supposed to take place in Kansas City at the UFC Fight Night tournament.
