Coach and jacket judge Maxim Suslin helped to save people from a fire in a residential building in Novosibirsk, the Russian kickboxing Federation reports.

– Maxim Suslin is not just a judge and a coach. He is a man who at a critical moment showed real power of the spirit and became an example of courage for the younger generation.

During training in Novosibirsk, he noticed a fire in a residential building. He called the rescuers – and he ran inside. Together with the first fireman, the evacuation of residents began: from an apartment full of smoke, he helped to withdraw children, women, pets. In total, about ten people managed to save. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save one woman. But if not for those who did not pass by, there could be more losses. We are proud that such people are next to us. Maxim Suslin is an example for young people worthy of respect, the statement said.

Suslin told how he decided to participate in a rescue operation.

– He called firefighters and decided to go to help himself, understood that there were people in the house. There were 4 children and mother of children in the apartment. The fireman evacuated them, and I went down, ”Suslin said.
