The UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev wrote on the social network X that he was not going to abandon his title, and the UFC 315 tournament can determine his next opponent.

In the main event, UFC 315 Belal Muhammad will protect the UFC belt in a welterweight belt in a duel with Jack Maddalen. The tournament will be held on May 11 in the Canadian Montreal.

The strongest boxers of our time – Ukrainian Alexander Usik and Japanese Naoya Inoue – We met in the ring of Mohammed Abdo Aren in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on December 27th.

On this day, a boxing night took place, the main event of which was the fight in the weight category up to 55.3 kg. WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF world champion Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs) defeated his Mexican opponent Alan David Picasso (32-0-1, 17 KOs).

The fight continued for all 12 rounds and ended with a confident victory for the Japanese “Beast” by unanimous decision.

After the final gong, Usik approached the champion in the ring, congratulated him on his victory and shook hands. Inoue admitted that he was not 100% satisfied with his performance and appreciated the Ukrainian’s place in the ranking of the strongest boxers of our time.

Next year, Usik plans to fight against former American champion Deontay Wilder, and Naoya is considering two options: Junto Nakatani or Jesse Rodriguez.
