Russian boxer Kovalev knocked out the German Mann in his farewell match
Russian boxer Sergei Kovalev defeated the German Arthur Mann at the Winline tournament. Iba Pro 2 “in Chelyabinsk.
Kovalev in his farewell duel knocked out Mann in the seventh round. After the knockdown, the corner of the German announced the cessation of the struggle. The Russian won the IBA Intercontinental belt in the first heavyweight.
Kovalev was 42 years old, in a professional ring he won 36 victories, suffered five defeats and one fight ended in a draw. During his career, Kovalev was the world champion in versions of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the World Boxing Association (WBA).
The 34 -year -old mann now has 22 victories and five defeats.
