The famous Russian boxer cut down the Germans in front of his native public. And immediately left the sport

Sergey Kovalev completed the last battle in his career ahead of schedule.

The titled Russian boxer Sergei Kovalev rarely spoke to his native public – he spent only five fights in professionals from 42 in Russia. However, Krasher decided to leave boxing in his native Chelyabinsk, and it turned out beautifully.

A spectacular knockout has become a point in the career of the former worldwide world weight in versions WBO, WBA-SUPER and IBF.

Eternally young twist

On Friday, April 18 in Chelyabinsk, the ex-champion of the world in the versions of WBO, WBA-SUPER and IBF Sergey Kovalev completed the sports path in Chelyabinsk. At the sunset of his career, the speaker moved to the first heavy weight, where Bulgarian won Terval Puleva and lost to the Swede Robin Safar. In the third fight in this category and the 42nd battle in professionals, the Russians had to go to the battle for the IBA Intercontinental championship belt with the representative of Germany Arthur Mann.

The speaker habitually appeared under the track of “semantic hallucinations” “forever young”, and then the fans heard the anthem of Germany and Russia. If we talk about preliminary layouts, then the chances of 42-year-old Kovalev to win were quoted higher than that of his 34-year-old counterpart. At the same time, the bookmakers were inclined to the fact that the duel would pass the entire distance, although both rivals often won with a knockout.

Sergei immediately tried to take the initiative, but the opponent defended himself well and was not against responding with dense blows. In the second round, Mann continued to demonstrate a desire to spoil the farewell duel of Krasher, though the experienced Kovalev quickly reassured him, sending a cunning blow to Canvas.

German surrender

The German boxer managed to return, although in the end of the round it was very difficult for him. Mann experienced this difficult segment, however, he had problems, including a dissection on his face. It would seem that the Russian has a chance to finish the match ahead of schedule, but the opponent quickly straightened the position. The impression began to be created that Kraser began to protect strength.

It was difficult to say how good Sergey was good in the current form to count on winning the points at 10 rounds distance. Mann seemed to have not offered anything special, he simply pressed the enemy, tightly hiding behind the block. But any series of blows on his part forced to worry about Kovalev fans.

Sergei himself reduced the number of blows, but tried not to reduce their quality. In the seventh round, after the next series from the twist, the German was again in the knockdown. He was not opposed to continuing, but the corner of the German athlete decided to surrender. As a result, Kovalev, who finally grabbed another champion belt, managed to leave boxing beautifully. And it is very cool that he won the victory in a farewell battle in front of his fans.

Nakatani triumphs in spectacular fight against Hernandez in Riyadh

On Saturday, December 27, Ring V boxing night is held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and its main event will be the fight for the title of absolute world champion Naoya Inoue – Alan David Picasso.

In the second most important fight, representatives of the second bantamweight (up to 55.3 kg) met – the former world champion Japanese met in the ring Junto Nakatani (31-0, 24 KOs) and undefeated Mexican Sebastian Hernandez (20-0, 18 knockouts).

Japan’s favorite gave the middle of the ring to his opponent and bet that he would be number two. Nakatani was excellent on his feet, attacking with lightning speed from favorable positions and quickly converting to long range.

The Mexican opponent decisively resisted his opponent’s blows, worked well in defense, but was inferior in speed and maneuverability.

Using his entire arsenal – punches, sides, hooks – Nakatani calmly dismantled Hernandez from distance. But after a safe start the favorite slowed down and allowed his rival to equalize the fight.

The opponent aggressively pressured Nakatani, throwing heavy punches and immediately hiding defensively to avoid missing anything heavy. Gradually, the initiative completely passed into the hands of Hernandez, who actively gained points from the judges’ notes.

In the championship rounds, both boxers continued to test each other’s mettle by throwing numerous punches. An incredibly spectacular and interesting fight, where the situation in the ring changes almost every second.

After the results of 12 rounds, the jury recorded the victory by unanimous decision of the Japanese, who can now fight with his compatriot Naoya Inoue.
