The Mexican boxer Saul Alvarez defeated Cuban William Skull and regained himself the title of absolute world champion in the second middleweight (up to 76.2 kg).

The battle in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) lasted all 12 rounds. Alvarez won the unanimous decision of the judges, the score of the judicial notes – 115: 113, 116: 112, 119: 109. The Mexican defended the world’s champion in versions of the World Boxing Council (WBC), the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO), and also selected the belt of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) from Skullah.

Alvarez in professional ring won 63 victories and suffered two defeats. Skull suffered the first defeat at 23 victories.

The next rival of Alvarez will be the former absolute world champion in the welterion and first welterweight scales by American Terepens Crawford, whose assets are 41 victories in 41 fights. The battle will take place on September 12 in Las Vegas (USA).
