The Russian public made a serious contribution to changing the trends of the world boxing, this is evidenced by the gender testing of athletes, which are introduced by the World Boxing, the chairman of the coaching staff of the Russian Boxing Federation, Eduard Kravtsov, told Match TV.

On Friday, the World Boxing reported that the innovation is at the final stage and will enter into force on July 1. Each athlete over 18 years of age should pass the PCR test to determine the floor. National federations will be responsible for testing and confirm the gender of athletes when registering for competitions. The World Boxing also announced that Iman Helif from Algeria will not be allowed to competition in the female category until genetic testing is held.

– Gender testing of boxers is the right measure. It doesn’t matter who it is introduced, the main thing is that this is the right decision. Men cannot compete with women, because at the genetic level a woman will always lose to a man. I would like to hope that boxing becomes cleaner.

– Is it worth introducing such tests in boxing organizations around the world?

– Unfortunately, with regard to world realities, now we can say that “Washington orders music,” many federations come to this. Now Washington is focused on the right life position from the point of view of all sexual stories, but the previous US administration, on the contrary, promoted sexual minorities and any muck. Therefore, the organizers of the competition closed their eyes and did not pay attention. Now in boxing the situation has changed. I think that our Russian sports community also made a considerable contribution to this, to which someone wants to or not, the whole world is listening. The same Umar Kremlin paid a lot of attention to this so that the men did not oppose women, ”Kravtsov said“ Match TV ”.

The Boxing International Boxing Association (IBA) in 2023 was suspended by Helif and Lin Yuitin during the World Cup in India because of the inconsistency of admission criteria. As a result of the gender test, it was proved that the athletes have XY chromosomes. In the same year, the session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) excluded IBA from the Olympic movement, and then the IOC allowed Helif and Lin Yuitin to the Olympics. As a result, both athletes won gold medals.
