Boxer Luchkina apologized for smoking a monkey at the zoo

Russian boxer Anastasia Luchkina posted a video in which she apologized for smoking Orangutanga Vaita in the Crimean zoo.

Earlier, the Boxing Federation of Russia condemned the behavior of the athlete. The organization said that the incident will be taken to control the disciplinary -ethical commission. In relation to the athlete, appropriate sanctions will be applied.

– Unfortunately, I recently made an act of unworthy content and posted a video on the network, which I sincerely regret now. I want to say about myself that I do not drink alcoholic beverages and do not smoke cigarettes, I have been playing sports for ten years and perform at competitions.

To my deep regret, in pursuit of hype, I posted this video. In front of me, other visitors to the zoo also gave the monkey tobacco products. I followed their example and posted it on camera. I really love animals and did not want to cause any harm to their health.

I apologize to everyone and undertake that more such a situation will not happen again. I sincerely want to continue my sports career. I can’t think of myself without sports, ”Anastasia said in a video published on the social network.
