The boxer was arrested on July 2. On June 28, he lost to the American blogger Jake Paul in a 10 -rang duel by a unanimous decision of the judges, the battle took place in anheim (California, USA). The DHS statement says that the Mexican was illegally in the United States, and in Mexico there is a warrant for his arrest for participating in organized crime and firearms, ammunition and explosives.

– In August 2023, he legally drove into a country on a tourist visa operating until February 2024. Chavez is also considered a member of a cartel recognized by a foreign terrorist organization, the report said.

Previously, Chaevs applied for the status of a regular resident of the United States, based on marriage with a citizen of this country. At the same time, the specified woman has a relationship with the drug cartel. In December 2024, the US citizenship and immigration service sent a message to ICE that Chavez is a glaring threat to public security. However, the record in the system of law enforcement agencies under the administration of President Joe Biden pointed out that Chavez was not the priority of immigration law enforcement. After which Chavez was able to return to the United States.

Earlier, Chavez several times fell into the US court for violations of the law. In January 2012, he was sentenced to 13 days of prison for driving in a state of intoxication. And at the beginning of 2024, he was found guilty of illegal possession of assault weapons and manufacturing or importing a short -barreled rifle.

Chavez is 39 years old. He won 54 fights in a professional ring (34 knockout) with seven defeats. Chavez is the son of Hulio Sesara Chavez, a former world champion in WBC, WBA and IBF versions.
