Russian boxers Dmitry Bivol and Arthur Beterbiev want to hold a third fight in Moscow.
With the appropriate request, they turned to the Turks of Al al -Shekhu – the head of the Main Directorate for Entertainment in Saudi Arabia. It was he who organized past fights of rivals who took place in Riyadh.
President of the Boxing International Boxing Association Umar Kremlev stated Match TV that many are interested in the third battle between Bivol and Beterbiev in Russia.
– The third battle between Dmitry Bivol and Arthur Beterbiev is scheduled for November in Saudi Arabia. But there is a nuance: Bivol and Beterbiev asked the Turks Al al -Sheikh to transfer the battle to Russia with other organizers.
And now the most important thing is that the Turks approved the idea. Only I can hardly imagine a battle in Luzhniki in October -November, ”wrote Mike Coppieger journalist Ring Magazine on a social network.
Later, the journalist corrected his post, replacing the last sentence. Instead of a phrase about Luzhniki, Copinger wrote: “And now it is unclear when the third fight will take place.”
In October 2024, Beterbiev defeated Bivol by the decision of most judges and became the absolute worldwide world champion. In February 2025, Bwille took revenge, also defeating the majority with a decision, and subsequently abandoned the WBC belt.
