The Mexican boxer was found dead in a hotel room after a defeat in the ring
The Mexican boxer Pedro Antonio Rodriguez was discovered dead in the hotel room after he lost the battle in Phoenix (USA), Marca reports.
Rodriguez was 37 years old.
On July 5, he lost to the American Phillip Vella a unanimous decision of the judges. After the battle, he agreed to meet and dinner with other boxers, but never went down to the hotel lobby. The next day he was found dead. The investigation of the circumstances of the death of Rodriguez continues.
In a professional ring, Rodriguez won 15 victories (7 – a knockout) with 26 defeats.
