Ian was approaching the next confrontation on a series of five victories, two of which fell on the UFC. The opponent had no successful series in the asset: after losing to Rob Fontet, he only managed to defeat Marlon Vera. But the statistics hinted that the opponent was strong and dangerous – in 28 fights he was inferior only twice, and none of the opponents managed to knock out Di Andradi.

Considering that Peter was famous primarily by shock equipment, for him it was a serious challenge. However, the merciless was in detail for a fight and was not against fighting the master of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In anticipation of the Russian fight, the Russian seemed to be more worried about the opponent, but the support of the American public, in the eyes of which the fighter had to enter the octagon for the first time.

Aggressive Russian

Jan went to the octagon with the Russian flag, which did not cause much enthusiasm among MMA lovers in California. But the tribunes did not meet Douglas as a hero, although in addition to him there were Brazilians in the card, and therefore Brazilian fans in the stands should have been more than Russian. But the support of the fans is not the most important point in any fighting match. In the cage, if you leave the referees out of brackets, two remain – they will find out who is stronger.

Ian began actively and even aggressively, the opponent chose to work as a second number. Not all beats of the merciless reached the goal, but he acted more successfully. Merciless was awarded the victory with a technical knockout with a correction for a stopping by a doctor. The successful procession to the title continued.
