The American thug was harshly beaten the son of Tszyu. Timy will have to forget about champion ambitions

A sign fight for a representative of the famous dynasty ended with a loud failure.

In the career of Timofei Tszyu, there is now a difficult period. The son of the legend of the Russian boxing Konstantin Tszyu introduced a great opportunity not only to become a champion again, but also to take revenge on the offender for the defeat, which the boxer, unfortunately, did not take advantage of.

So Tim has not lost yet.

“The belts come and go”

The ideal track record of Tszyu ceased to be such in March 2024, when he unexpectedly lost in battle for the WBC and WBO championship belts to American Sebastian Fundor, which has anthropometric data atypical for the first average weight. The US representative boasts almost two -meter growth. Against his background, Timothy looked like a child. The outcome of this confrontation, as it seemed to many, decided a strong dissection, because of which the most part of the fight was forced to shake the stream of blood from the face.

After Timothy immediately received another title battle. This time he was opposed by Bahram Murtazaliev, who owned the champion belt according to IBF. But here, the duel did not go according to the plan of Tszyu. The Russian won the technical knockout in the third round. It was possible to interrupt the unsuccessful mini-series only in a duel with American Joseph Spencer. Here, Tszyu already forced the opponent’s team to stop the battle.

A vivid victory again returned Tszyu to the list of applicants for the title, however, it was not without certain luck. Fundora decided to provide Tim Revanh, donating to the sake of this even the WBO title. Many were not unreasonably believed that the son of Konstantin Borisovich would take revenge on the American. He was sure of Victory and Timothy.

– It’s not about the belt. The point is in the poundor. The belts come and go, but to defeat the person with whom you have a story who has inflicted the first defeat, to rewrite this story-this is the challenge, ”said at a press conference before the Tszyu battle.

“Nothing came out for me”

But the beginning of the fight was discouraged for Timofeus. Fundor hit the jaw well in the first round. Zzyu fell on the flooring, but quickly rose. After that, the judge recorded a knockdown and allowed the duel to continue. Sebastian went to develop success, however, he could not finish the opponent.

But the American still dominated. The enormous advantage in the scale of the hands allowed him to effectively keep Tim at a distance in the first four rounds. Moreover, Sebastian demonstrated the coordination gorgeous for his growth. His blows over and over again reached the goal, inflicting Tszyu severe damage.

Only in the fifth round Timofey began to act more efficiently, breaking through the enormous hands of the opponent. Fundora, on the other hand, began to miss more often. But even with such introductory, Zzyu missed a lot, as he acted without looking back to defense. The next segment can also be given to Tim, because he broke his nose to a tall opponent.

In the seventh round, boxers staged a powerful zaruba. Both missed a lot of blows, while attacking well. It seemed that Zzyu had a knockout chances in the end, but before the eighth round, the boxer team decided to refuse to continue the battle, too much damage was received earlier. Such a defeat in Timofey’s career happened for the first time.

– I tried to lay out in full, but nothing came out for me. The victory belongs to Sebastian Fundor, the best boxer on the planet in our weight category. He was just better. It is very difficult to get Sebastian because of the damn high stature, ”said Tszyu after the defeat.

There is no doubt that the three lost champion fights inflicted a serious blow to the career of Tszyu. In the near future, the athlete will only have to dream of a full -fledged belt. Naturally, history knows different cases of return, but Tim will be very difficult to climb to the top of the first average weight with such frantic competition.

Nakatani triumphs in spectacular fight against Hernandez in Riyadh

On Saturday, December 27, Ring V boxing night is held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and its main event will be the fight for the title of absolute world champion Naoya Inoue – Alan David Picasso.

In the second most important fight, representatives of the second bantamweight (up to 55.3 kg) met – the former world champion Japanese met in the ring Junto Nakatani (31-0, 24 KOs) and undefeated Mexican Sebastian Hernandez (20-0, 18 knockouts).

Japan’s favorite gave the middle of the ring to his opponent and bet that he would be number two. Nakatani was excellent on his feet, attacking with lightning speed from favorable positions and quickly converting to long range.

The Mexican opponent decisively resisted his opponent’s blows, worked well in defense, but was inferior in speed and maneuverability.

Using his entire arsenal – punches, sides, hooks – Nakatani calmly dismantled Hernandez from distance. But after a safe start the favorite slowed down and allowed his rival to equalize the fight.

The opponent aggressively pressured Nakatani, throwing heavy punches and immediately hiding defensively to avoid missing anything heavy. Gradually, the initiative completely passed into the hands of Hernandez, who actively gained points from the judges’ notes.

In the championship rounds, both boxers continued to test each other’s mettle by throwing numerous punches. An incredibly spectacular and interesting fight, where the situation in the ring changes almost every second.

After the results of 12 rounds, the jury recorded the victory by unanimous decision of the Japanese, who can now fight with his compatriot Naoya Inoue.
