Olympic champion Lin Yuitin agreed to go through the gender test in front of the World Cup

The representative of Taiwan Lin Yuitin, who won the gold of the Olympiad -2024, agreed to go through the gender test in front of the World Boxing Championship, said athlete coach Zen Tsuzyan.

The organization of World Boxing, under the auspices of which the World Cup will be held, previously announced that all participants in the competition are required to undergo a gender test in accordance with the new requirements that entered into force. The world championship will be accepted by Liverpool (September 4–14).

The Boxing International Association (IBA) in 2023 was removed by Lin Yuitin and Algerka Iman Helif during the World Cup in India because of the inconsistency of admission criteria, the athletes failed a gender test. In the same year, the session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) excluded IBA from the Olympic movement, and then the IOC allowed Helif and Lin Yuitin to the 2024 Olympics in Paris, where they won gold medals.

In August, the former coach and manager Helif Namer Yesfach said she suspended her career, but she herself refuted this information.
