Russian Sharabutdin Ataev became a three -time Russian boxing champion.
On Friday, he defeated Savelia Sadom in the final of the Russian Championship in the weight category up to 86 kg. According to the results of the three rounds, all the judges unanimously gave the victory to Ataeva.
Ilya Popov also won gold medals (up to 63.5 kg), Evgeny Kool (up to 67 kg), Sergey Koldenkov (up to 71 kg), Ismail Mutsolgov (up to 75 kg), Dzhambulat Bizhamov (up to 80 kg), Muslim Gadzhimagomedov (up to 92 kg) and David Surov (over 92 kg).
The Russian boxing championship of 2025 was held from August 15 to 22 in Yekaterinburg at the Palace of Game Sports.
