Former WBO champion Kurbanov was disqualified for three years for doping
The former winner of the championship belt of the World Boxing Organization (WBO International), Russian Magomed Kurbanov, was disqualified for three years for violation of anti -doping rules, according to the official website of the Russian Anti -Doping Agency (Russia).
The athlete was punished for violations provided for in clause 4.1 and clause 4.2 of all -Russian anti -doping rules. In the boxer sample, a distanolon and his metabolite were found. Kurbanov was suspended from the date of the decision, namely from August 1, 2025, with the offset of the retarded period of temporary removal (from July 24, 2025).
Kurbanov is 30 years old. In a professional ring, he won 26 victories and suffered two defeats. The Russian owned WBO International belt in the first middle weight.
