Helif insists on participating in tournaments among women.
The Olympic boxing champion Iman Helif will not calm down. The scandalous athlete from Algeria, who failed the floor for determining the floor, ignores the requirements of the World Boxing federation, but is not ready to miss competitions.
Helif, impunity from impunity, in the DNA of which the male chromosomes of XY were discovered, went to the officials for officials who forbade her to beat biological women.
Appeal and curtsy towards the rules
Since July 1, 2025, the rules clearly require that each athlete over 18 years of age undergo a test to determine the floor. World Boxing emphasizes that without this, the athlete will not be able to participate either in the tournament in Eindhoven or in the World Cup in Liverpool. But Helif flatly refuses to follow new requirements.
African is trying to cancel the decision of the Federation and achieve admission to competitions through a sports arbitration court (CAS). On September 1, the court rejected Helif’s petition to suspend the decision before the hearing. The exchange of written statements has already begun, the hearing will be appointed later.
Helif was already faced with a similar situation: in 2023, the Boxing International Association (IBA) removed it during the World Cup in India due to “inconsistency with the criteria for admission.” However, this did not stop her from going to games-2024, winning gold there and becoming one of the most criticized people in the history of the Olympiads. Helif put herself as a victim, and as a proof of her gender, children’s photos were published in girlfriends.
But the information published by Le Correspondant in the fall of 2024 does not leave ambiguity. This is a medical report according to which the athlete revealed the absence of uterus and ovaries, as well as the presence of testes in the inguinal canal and micropenis.
The scale of the scandal and the pressure of the world community forced World Boxing to put an end to lawlessness. Since July 1, 2025, all athletes over 18 are required to pass the PCR test to the genetic floor. National federations are responsible for testing and confirmation of gender during registration. Otherwise, participation in competitions is prohibited.
Helif-the gold medalist of the 2024 Olympics in Paris in the category of up to 66 kg-ended up in a situation where her personal ambitions and the rules of the international box collide in the forehead.
There were rumors about her departure from sports, but the boxing herself refuted them.
– News about my care from boxing is a lie. They are based on statements by a person who does not represent me. I did not announce the departure from sports and is still devoted to my career, regularly train and maintain form, preparing for competitions. Rumors are distributed in order to interfere with my career. I will always be devoted to sports and Algeria, – gives her words independent.
Scandals and accusations
The network has already surfaced materials that allegedly proving the presence of a male carutation in Helif. Writer Joan Rowling publicly urged to deprive the champion of Olympic gold, calling the situation “egregious scourge.”
– A whole galaxy of sports media representatives openly applauded men who beat women for the spectacle. None of them lost their work because of this work. No other social group would have encountered such a frank humiliation without public condemnation. Hitting misoginia, ”Rowling wrote on social networks.
Meanwhile, Iman continues to literally insist that “she is not going to take a test.” On the one hand, courage, on the other, arrogance. Because the rules were changed precisely so that all participants in the competition were checked for compliance with the gender category. And without this it is impossible to allow anyone to the tournament.
Supporters of Iman see in the actions of the Federation the restriction of the rights of the athlete and public humiliation. Critics believe that she demonstrates arrogance, trying to slip through the rules created to ensure an honest game. Now CAS will decide who the law and sport will support: the athlete, who says “I am a woman, but I won’t give up”, or a federation that insists on strict observance of new rules and protects thousands of girls from frank fraud.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan advised boxer-blogger Jake Paul to no longer fight with opponents of the level of former world champion Anthony Joshua.
On Friday, Paul lost to Joshua in the sixth round by knockout at a tournament in Miami. After the fight, the blogger was hospitalized with a broken jaw.
– I believe that a person can withstand a certain number of blows in the ring without serious consequences. Joshua’s knockout blow was terrible and equal to ten normal strong blows. Jake Paul took a lot of damage.
He shouldn’t continue like this for long because he’ll have to pay for it and it’s not worth it. Serious brain disorders lead to depression, which leads you to addiction. Many become gambling addicts, drug addicts, and alcoholics after finishing their boxing career. “Many people act hastily,” Rogan said on social networks.
Former WBA, WBO, IBF heavyweight champion, 2012 Olympic champion Joshua has 29 wins and four losses. Paul won 12 victories and suffered two defeats in the professional ring.
