Usik frankly spit on fans. But he was forgiven for a gross violation of the rules
The World Boxing Organization provided Usyk with a delay after a scandal with a back injury.
A recent scandal with the participation of the Absolute World Boxing Champion in heavyweight from Ukraine completely ruined his reputation. You can lose the battle and leave good impressions of yourself, but most people hate it when they are brazenly and frankly lying. This is what the Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik did and could well lose the champion title, but WBO entered differently and actually forgave him a gross violation.
It all started with deception
Last year, there were two successful fights against Tyson Fury from Great Britain in the Usyk career. Then the Ukrainian in both cases was stronger, but these fights could be called spectacular with a huge stretch. But the success was recorded, despite the dubious victory in the first battle.
Then the Ukrainian was to fight with the obligatory contender Joseph Parker-the temporary champion of the World Boxing Organization (36-3, 24 KOs). At the end of July, WBO was sent to the Usyk team notification demanding a fight, or rather, the start of negotiations to launch the entire process. As a result, Alexander did not wait for the expiration and asked WBO to give him a deferral for health reasons.
The Ukrainian referred to back pain, and in the World Boxing Organization they chose to believe the star boxer. The request of the Usik was satisfied, but then a video appeared on social networks where Alexander participated in incendiary dances at parties and played football. It became clear to everyone that Usyk impudently lied about the state of his health.
You don’t have to be a genius to guess that it is unrealistic to play football with serious back pain and dance on parties. As a result, a large scandal occurred, which was absolutely predictable and logical. In WBO they were forced to pay attention to this, there was even talking about the possible deprivation of the antennae of the champion title. In general, this would be largely objectively.
Will the Ukrainian be punished in the end?
The Ukrainian was forced to provide a second medical report and transfer all the data by September 1. Then, however, it turned out that WBO gave Usyk 90 days, which were counted from August 9, to extend negotiations on mandatory protection against the parker. It also became known that New Zelendets has the right to defend a temporary title against any opponent, Alexander will be obliged to meet the winner of this battle. It is important to note that the Ukrainian should not conduct any other fights before that moment.
Ultimately, it turned out that WBO at the moment did not deprive the osik of the title, so the Ukrainian so far remains the absolute champion of the world in heavyweight. Parker will hold a fight with British Fabio Wardley on October 25 on O2 Arena in London, and the winner of the battle will become an obligatory rival of the Ukrainian boxer.
– We saw a record where Usik is dancing. If he is really injured, let him recover as quickly as possible to return and fight with one of us in the next battle. He deserves a vacation with his family, ”Sky Sports quotes Parker quoted.
In fact, in WBO they preferred not to punish Alexander, although there were prerequisites for this. What else was necessary for the organization, taking into account the existing video, is not very clear. People suffering from back pain do not come off to the victorious parties. So Karma can overtake the Usyk is quite soon, because the sport does not forgive such behavior.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan: “Jake Paul took a terrible hit from Joshua, it could end badly”

UFC commentator Joe Rogan advised boxer-blogger Jake Paul to no longer fight with opponents of the level of former world champion Anthony Joshua.
On Friday, Paul lost to Joshua in the sixth round by knockout at a tournament in Miami. After the fight, the blogger was hospitalized with a broken jaw.
– I believe that a person can withstand a certain number of blows in the ring without serious consequences. Joshua’s knockout blow was terrible and equal to ten normal strong blows. Jake Paul took a lot of damage.
He shouldn’t continue like this for long because he’ll have to pay for it and it’s not worth it. Serious brain disorders lead to depression, which leads you to addiction. Many become gambling addicts, drug addicts, and alcoholics after finishing their boxing career. “Many people act hastily,” Rogan said on social networks.
Former WBA, WBO, IBF heavyweight champion, 2012 Olympic champion Joshua has 29 wins and four losses. Paul won 12 victories and suffered two defeats in the professional ring.
