The winner of the European Boxing Championship Mikhailenko was shot dead in Omsk

The winner of the European Boxing Championship Levova Mikhailenko was shot dead in Omsk, the publication Supermsk reports.

According to the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Omsk Region, a criminal case has been instituted on the fact of the detection of the body of a 31 -year -old man with a gunshot wound of the head on September 10. The publication claims that Mikhailenko turned out to be the dead, who won the gold of the Youth European Championship in 2008 (13-14 years old) in the weight category up to 68 kg.

– As a result of the investigative actions and operational measures carried out jointly with the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Omsk region, it was established that a 23 -year -old acquaintance of the victim was involved in the crime, who, after the commission of unlawful actions, went beyond the Omsk Region. On the same day, the suspect was detained in the Novosibirsk region. According to investigators, the person involved, while visiting the victim, during a conflict from personal hostile relations shot the last from a pistol.

The defendant was charged with the murder and the preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen. Investigative actions are carried out aimed at clarifying all the circumstances of the crime, for which the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for a punishment of up to 15 years in prison, according to the website of the regional court of the IC of the Russian Federation.
