Crawford defeated Alvarez in battle for the title of absolute world champion
American Terens Crawford won the Mexican Saul Canelo Alvarez in a boxing match for the title of absolute world champion in the second middleweight.
The battle in Las Vegas lasted all 12 rounds and ended with the victory of Crawford as a unanimous judicial decision.
Thus, Crawford won the WBC championship titles, the World Boxing Association (WBA Super), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF), which belonged to Canelo.
The American was the first in history to be the absolute world champion in three scales – the first welterweight, welterweight and second average.
Earlier, the World Boxing Council (WBC) announced the creation of the first roller champion of the world in history, which was presented to the winner after the fight.
On the account of the undefeated Crawford is now 42 victories. Alvarez won 63 victories in a professional ring, suffered three defeats, and also ended the fights twice.
