The Japanese boxer Uni Takada left the ring on a stretcher in a duel for the WBA world title in weight up to 45 kg, reports Boxingscene.
The battle between Takada and his compatriot Ryusai Matsumoto took place on Sunday in the Japanese Nagoy. In the fifth round, the opponents collided with their heads, Takada fell into the ring, his face was flooded with blood. Doctors immediately carried away on a stretcher and provided medical care.
The victory was awarded Matsumoto.
