The President of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR) of Russia Mikhail Mamiashvili, in a conversation with Match TV, called the “nonsense” of the Croatian authorities in relation to the Russian wrestler Emin Sephershaev.
The two -time European champion in the Greco -Roman struggle Sefershaev was included in the Russian team for the World Cup in Zagreb, but later the Croatian authorities recalled his visa. Later, the head of the FSBR press service Tigran Avanian said that the 27 -year -old athlete was detained and delivered to the police station, but “deportation managed to avoid, an agreement was reached, that Seferhaev would be transferred to Serbia, from where he would go to Russia.”
– I can’t choose the words that can describe what happened to Sefershaev. Not only did a person received a visa, passed accreditation, and after he was deprived of the right to be in one of the countries of the Schengen agreement, they also tried to deport. The lowest bow to our embassy, personally consul that intervened.
Three or four people in civilian clothes came to the hotel. Asked [Сефершаева] Go with them and go through further procedures. They tried to present him that he received a passport on the territory of the Crimean peninsula, that he was generally crazy. It all ended with the fact that they presented that they were not Sefershaev, but a completely different person. But we immediately turned on and proved that literally a month and a half ago, Emin already performed in Croatia, in the same city, in the same hall and won. Now Sefershaev is in Serbia and is waiting for a departure to Russia, ”Mamiashvili said Match TV.
On Wednesday, the FSBR said that the United World of Wrestling (UWW) filed a protest on the actions of the Croatian authorities against Sefershaev.
The World War II World Cup will end on September 21. See direct broadcasts of the competition on the TV channels “Match TV” and “Match! Fighter ”, as well as Matchtv.ru and Sportbox.ru sites.

“They don’t know what they’re seeing.” Star boxer bravely assessed Usik’s level
Famous American heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) evaluated the level of the Ukrainian champion Alexandra Usika (24-0, 15 knockouts):
“I don’t think Usyk is the best boxer of all time. Those who say this are probably his fans, they should say this. These are his people. Probably many people from Ukraine also say this. Apart from them, very few people say this. But most people do not understand boxing.
Many fans don’t know what they’re seeing and don’t understand what they’re watching. The structure of this job, its basics, taking a certain position, fighting, etc. They don’t know the real things that need to be done.”
Dereck Chisora previously explained why the fight between Usyk and Wilder will not happen.
